POLICIES

When booking in at The Hair Society Subiaco you agree to the policies as outlined on this page.

CONFIRMATIONS

You will receive a confirmation text message 2 days prior to your appointment prompting you to either confirm by replying 'YES' or to cancel by calling the salon on (08) 6161 3190. Not responding to this text message will automatically cancel your appointment.  24 hour cancellation policy applies. If you have not received a text message 2 days prior to your booked appointment, please call the salon on (08) 6161 3190. 

DEPOSITS

A 50% deposit is payable to secure a booking at The Hair Society Subiaco.  The deposit amount paid at the time of booking will be taken off the total cost of your finished service, it is not an extra fee.

Deposits are there to cover the cost staff being left in the lurch with last minute cancellations/rescheduling or with no-shows. 

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

We require 24 hours notice for cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.

If you cancel, reschedule or don't show up to your appointment, a 50% cancellation fee applies. If you have paid a deposit (50%), you will forfeit this deposit.

We understand that life happens, but please understand that it is nearly impossible for us to fill a gap with only a few hours notice and that is why we do require you to let us know in advance if you cannot make your appointment. In case of emergencies or other unforseen circumstances, when there is a genuine valid reason for not being able to attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reschedule and carry forward your deposit, or cancel with a refund in exceptional circumstances (e.g. an extended hospital stay).

BEING LATE

If you are running late, you must notify The Hair Society Subiaco as soon as possible. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you run the risk of missing your appointment and being charged a cancellation fee as we might not be able to perform the full service due to limited time.  Please be on time!

CHANGE OF MIND

As a small business that relies on bookings rather than walk-ins, it is imparative that time reserved with your stylist at the time of booking is used as intended. A cancellation fee (50%) will apply if the nature of the booking is drastically changed simply because of a change of mind. Please amend your booking at least 24 hours prior to avoid a cancellation fee. Please understand that changing a 4 hour booking to 45mins incurs cost to the business as your stylist is left in the lurch for 3 hours as it is nearly impossible for us to fill a gap with such short notice. 

We offer a complimentary consultation service and we encourage starting with this if you are unsure exactly what to book in for.

RE-DOS

We want everyone to be 100% happy with their hair after leaving The Hair Society Subiaco, however if you are not satisfied with the service received, you must let the Hair Sociey Subiaco know within 7 days of your appointment and we will correct your hair free of charge if we feel we are at fault. We will not correct any work if after care instructions as advised by your stylist were not followed or if poor quality products were used after leaving the salon. Change of mind does not warrant a re-do.

ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR

The Hair Society Subiaco has a zero tolerance policy for rude and/or abusive behaviour. If you are rude and/or abusive towards our staff, you will be asked to leave and will not be welcomed back. We are all human and are only trying to do our jobs. Please be respectful.
